Art Studio Upper, owned by a local artist with many of her artworks displayed within the property is a newly built 1st floor studio of a two storey buidling in Fiskardo, just a few minutes walk from the fishing village centre, two beaches and an archaeological roman site. A perfect place to stay and explore the North of Kefalonia.
This newly built open plan studio is bright and airy with private balcony where you can see the sunrise over the island of Ithaka. Enjoy breathtaking views across the sea to the Venetian lighthouse and watch the endless stream of yachts and super yachts boats coming and going from Fiskardo port. The vaulted ceiling, original art work all add to this studios uniqueness. There is a little kitchenette, table and chairs, a corner sofa and a large double bed in the main room with a separate bathroom with a shower and W.C.
Zavalata Beach and Foki Beach are a short walk away, both are easy to access and great for swimming. Wander the cobble streets of Fiskardo where you can eat breakfast, lunch and supper at one of the many tavernas. Browse the boutique shops, watch the boats come and go, take a walk to the old lighthouse...the choice is yours, there is plenty to see and do.
For larger groups you could also take Art Studio Lower and Art House.

Art Studio Upper is located just walking distance to the famous fishing port of Fiskardo where you will find shops, restaurants, ATM’s, bakery’s, bars and all sorts of activities. The village is a really picturesque place with traditional Venetian architecture and a constant stream of yachts entering and leaving. During the high season some of the biggest and most famous motor and sailing yachts visit providing constant entertainment and even the possibility of some celeb spotting.
If you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle there are plenty of sleepy beaches and local taverna’s within 15 minutes drive.

Foki beach is in a protected bay with a shady olive grove and a cave to swim to and explore as well as a taverna close-by.
Emblisi beach is easily accessible, has great swimming and parking is close to the beach although it does get busy in July and August.
Within 10 minutes drive
Kimilia beach is a hidden gem accessible only by boat or by foot by following a winding forest path. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.
Dafnoudi beach with its crystal clear water is worth the 10-15 minute hike down from where you park. Of course you can also access the beach by boat. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.
Within 15 minutes drive
Agia Jerusalem beach is a pebble beach with crystal clear water making for great paddling, swimming and if you like to snorkel it's worth swimming out to the rocks where you will find much more marine life than in the bay itself. In high season sun-beds are available for hire on the beach and there is a taverna serving traditional Greek food.
Alaties beach is small but perfectly formed where you can lap up the sunshine either on the beach itself or on the surrounding rocks. There’s good parking available and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening where you can watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.
