Starboard Apartment is in the heart of Fiskardo where there is a large choice of tavernas and restaurants serving local specialties as well as a number of bars where you can sit and watch the boats come into the harbour. The harbour is lined with small shops and boutiques as well as ATMs, two bakeries, supermarkets, chemist, chandler and the Fiskardo Dive Centre for those wishing to adventure beneath the waves.

The village of Magganos is a 5 minute drive and has two small supermarkets with fresh bread daily and a good selection of fruit and veg and other daily staples in the two supermarkets.

Beaches we like to visit

Within 5 minutes walk

Zavalata beach is a small sandy beach.

Foki beach is in a protected bay with a shady olive grove and a cave to swim to and explore as well as a taverna close-by.

Emblisi beach is easily accessible, has great swimming and parking is close to the beach although it does get busy in July and August.

Within 10 minutes drive

Kimilia beach is a hidden gem accessible only by boat or by foot by following a winding forest path. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.

Dafnoudi beach with its crystal clear water is worth the 10-15 minute hike down from where you park. Of course you can also access the beach by boat. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.

Within 15 minutes drive

Agia Jerusalem beach is a pebble beach with crystal clear water making for great paddling and swimming. In high season there are sun-beds for rent on the beach and there is a taverna serving traditional Greek food.

Alaties beach is small but perfectly formed where you can lap up the sunshine either on the beach itself or on the surrounding rocks. There’s good parking available and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening where you can watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.
