Kulumi House | Sleeps 2 to 4 | from £345 per week
Kulumi House is a charming village house with sea and sunset views and just a short drive (10 mins) from beaches.
Built in the 1950’s Kulumi House is a simple, single storey property situated in the quiet village of Vasilikades. A flight of steps leads up from the road, where there is off road parking for two cars, to a vine covered terrace and entrance to the house. Inside there is a well equipped kitchen with doorway through to the living room. This in turn leads to a hallway with original period tiles and wood panelling off which there is a twin room and a separate double bedroom with air conditioning. The family bathroom is accessed through the kitchen.
Outside there are two terraces ideal for relaxing, eating or enjoying a sundowner whilst watching the sun set over the Ionian Sea.
This is a beautifully presented, traditional Greek family home with no bells and whistles but lots of character. The property is well located for those wanting to explore the many attractions of Kefalonia.
Great location in Vasilikades, walking distance to 2 tavernas and easy access to Fiskardo, Assos and the south of the Island.

The beach has sun beds for hire in peak season, late June, July & August and there is a taverna serving traditional Greek food. The tiny yet wonderful beach of Alaties is also only 10 minutes drive. It is a great spot for snorkelling, has good parking and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening.

In Fiskardo you will find shops, restaurants, ATM’s, bakery’s, bars and all sorts of activities. Beaches we like to visit
Within 15 minutes drive
Agia Jerusalem beach is a pebble beach with crystal clear water making for great paddling, swimming and if you like to snorkel it's worth swimming out to the rocks where you will find much more marine life than in the bay itself. In high season sun-beds are available for hire on the beach and there is a taverna serving traditional Greek food.
Alaties beach is small but perfectly formed where you can lap up the sunshine either on the beach itself or on the surrounding rocks. There’s good parking available and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening where you can watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.
Emblissi beach just outside of Fiskardo is easily accessible, has great swimming, wonderful views across to Lefkas and Meganisi. There's good parking although it does get busy in July and August.
Foki beach is in a protected bay with a shady olive grove and a cave to swim to and explore as well as a taverna close-by.
Kimilia beach is a hidden gem accessible only by boat or by foot by following a winding forest path. We recommend you take food and as there are no facilities at the beach.
Dafnoudi beach with its crystal clear water is worth the 10-15 minute hike down from where you park. Of course you can also access the beach by boat. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.
