For the active visitor, there’s plenty to do on Kefalonia. Here are a few ideas to get you out and about discovering this beautiful island.
Scuba Diving
Fiskardo Divers Eco-Dive-Resort is a PADI Dive Centre run by Master Scuba Trainer Cedric Georges. Cedric has extensive dive experience and has taught scuba diving in Fiskardo since 2000. The centre caters for all ages and experience levels and are fluent in French, English, Spanish, Greek and also speak some Italian and German.
Kayaking
Fiskardo Kayaks strives to offer guests a truly memorable, fun day out on the water with countless nearby beautiful secluded blue bays and pebble beaches to visit and explore. Walking and Hiking
There is an ever growing network of ancient, hidden footpaths joining villages, fields and little bays around Fiskardo. Thanks to a small dedicated group called Paths of Greece there are now three routes for people to walk, all of which start and end in Fiskardo. The paths have been signposted and along the way you will see ancient sites, beautiful beaches, forests and many stone terraces. Ionian e-bike
If you want to get around on two wheels, explore the island and hidden paths you can hire an eBike (70km of range with full battery). Guided group excursions available and lunch included (max 6 people). Safety equipment included in rental, baby seats available. All bikes are covered by insurance and conform to CEE Laws. Delivery to your villa is available.
Adventures and tours
Outdoor Kefalonia offers unconventional, alternative and extreme activities such as: sea kayaking, jeep safaris, hiking/ walking and caving. They provide unique and different ways to explore and experience the breathtaking Ionian island of Kefalonia.
Marine adventure
Ionian Discoveries operates from Fiskardo harbour taking small groups on voyages of excitement and discovery on board a traditional Greek Kaiki. They also offer private charters on request.
Watersports
Anti Samos beach is just outside the town of Sami and about forty five minutes from Fiskardo by car. It’s a very popular large pebble beach offering a variety of watersports as well as plenty of sun beds for those wishing to simply lounge. There are two tavernas so an all day stay is entirely possible. Outdoor Kefalonia also offer water based activities.
Motor boat hire
There are a number of companies in Fiskardo harbour that hire small motorboats to tourists wishing to explore Kefalonia’s coves and beaches, some of which can only be accessed from the sea. Regina's Boat Hire is a good place to start.
